“The Fifth Element” exists as a space within the gallery where the viewer is surrounded by 10-foot-tall, backlit panels describing the four elements. The ‘fifth element’ is that transcendent intersection of the experience of all of the other elements.

I showed this installation in 2014–2015 in my exhibit, “The Line of Beauty,” at the Biggs Museum of Art.
